JOIN THE INTERWOVEN

an intimate virtual container for creative-mamas to mother their art and their humanness with tenderness, devotion and vitality

“Interwoven” means “weave or become woven together,” and here you are celebrated as a whole human, woven together as a mother and artist and _____ [insert all parts of you here].

Hand-in-hand and heart-to-heart, we will weave a community of creative-mamas who are bravely + generously birthing ideas, shining their creative gifts and honoring all parts of their humanness (the light, the dark, the in-between). (Because no one should have to do it alone)

WHO YOU ARE, MAMA:

  • You are a female-identifying or non-binary creative mama who feels a deep longing to devote more energy to your art*

    • *your art = anything you feel is your art (writing, visual art, healing arts, photography, ceramics, spreadsheets, design, interiors… the list is infinite)

  • You tend to a lot, my dear your little (or big) human(s), the evolving, cyclical needs of your body, your art, your home, all the behind the scenes of running a creative business, and so, so much more

  • You long to weave a web of all your parts that feels harmonious, simple and spacious, but things feel a little tangled right now (I hear you, mama)

  • You feel lonely and isolated at times in your role as mother-artist and you feel called to create alongside others who understand your struggles and can be there with you when it all feels like too much

WHAT YOU'LL RECEIVE:

9 LIVE gatherings over 5 weeks //

  • (1) intro + visioning session — we’ll ground, get to know one another + set intentions/visions for the container

  • (8) co-creation sessions, often called “co-working” - we’ll gather for an hour 2x a week to work on our creative work, quietly but together. bring your journal, your typewriter, your sketchbook, your weaving, your knitting tools, anything that makes your inner-artist feel delight. come to all sessions, come to half, come late, leave early, have your camera off, your boobs out, your hair greasy. this time is yours to show up in your humanness, reclaim your sense of self + devote to your art!

  • *gathering times to be determined by the group!

Continuous voice memo support + space holding for the 5 week container //

If/when your role as mother means you can’t make a live gathering, we’ll continue to hold one another through a private voice memo thread. Expect weekly guided list-making rituals, periodic check-ins and a space to celebrate, share freely, cry, be held, hold others, honestly without judgment or expectation.

THEMES FOR THIS COHORT:

Week 1: Mothering our art

Week 2: Reflecting, releasing and letting go

Week 3: Birthing new ideas and calling in what we desire to create

Week 4: Honoring creative blocks, fears and doubt + tending to creative wounds

Week 5: Shining our creative gifts + inviting the world to receive them

WHO I AM

hi, dear one, I’m Courtney. I’m a multifaceted creative - writer, visual artist, journaler, space-holder, guide, list maker. I became a mother in April ‘24 to my baby Levi and motherhood has stretched me open beyond repair. Motherhood and the weight of all we hold can make us feel invisible. I feel a deep call — an ache really — to create spaces for mother’s voices to be heard and her soul’s work to be seen. As an artist business guide, I support artists in putting their art into the world, while being a soft place to land as fears, uncertainties, self-doubt and all the inevitable stories arise when we share our art.

One of my recent clients said “Courtney acted as a container for me—holding safe space for me to process all my creative ideas, helping me listen for what was truly calling me. She asked questions that helped me sift through my artwork inspiration and my desires for how I want to show and sell my art.”
